The practice
Privacy policy
What this website collects, where it goes, and what it never does.

What this policy covers
This policy covers this website: its pages, the forms shown on them and the weekly meal planner. Care you receive at the practice, and the health information that comes with it, is covered separately by the privacy notice you receive as a patient.
The inquiry forms
The forms on this website ask for your name, your email, a mobile phone number and the best time to call. The team form also asks for your organization and, if you like, a date and the size of your group.
The forms ask nothing about your health, and none has a box to type a message into.
When you send a form, it goes from this website to the booking system the practice uses, through a service provider that connects the two. The booking system keeps your details so we can call you.
Our team also gets a short alert with your first name, the first letter of your last name, the service you asked about and the best time to call.
Each form names the page it came from, so the practice knows where you found us. We use what you send to call you and set a time, and we do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.
If a form cannot send, it keeps what you typed and offers our phone number and the booking system's own form. That form opens in a new tab, under the booking system's privacy policy.
When a form is sent, our server holds the sending connection's IP address briefly, in memory only, to stop the same form being sent over and over.
We keep your record for as long as we need it to arrange and document your care, and for as long as the law requires.
Weekly meals
Meal ordering is open. What a meal order sends, and where it goes, is described under "Meal orders" below.
A meal order goes from this website straight to the practice's own Google Workspace, and your preferences and allergies never pass through any other service.
What stays in your browser
The weekly meal planner keeps what you choose in your own browser's storage: the plan, 5 days or 7, one week or the month, the meals you pick and your preferences. A refresh keeps your week, and none of it is sent to us unless you place an order.
Your cart, with the name, allergies and nutritionist answer you give for each person, stays in the tab you are using until you close it, so a refresh keeps it. It is sent to us only when you place the order, and it is never kept after the tab closes.
When you place an order, this tab keeps a recap of it for the confirmation page: the order number, each person's first name with their plan and meals, the delivery times, and the checkouts still to pay. It holds nothing about your health or how to reach you, and it goes when the tab closes.
If you sign in with your email, we email you a six-digit code. The code fills in the details we hold for you and the people you have ordered for before, on that page only. Nothing is stored in your browser for it.
If you start a week on the home page, it is handed to the meal page in a part of the page address that your browser keeps to itself.
The Motion switch at the foot of every page remembers your choice the same way. To clear all of it, clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
Meal orders
The meal order form asks for your email, mobile phone, delivery address and any delivery notes, the delivery times that work on each delivery day, your allergies or restrictions or that there are none, and if you work with an LWI nutritionist. It also sends the plan, the weeks, the meals you chose and your preferences. It does not ask for your name: the checkout does.
Your order goes from this website's server to the practice's own Google Workspace. It is written to a private spreadsheet that only the people who run the meal program can open, and your details start your customer record there, so you do not have to give them again.
You pay in the booking system's secure checkout, shown in a panel on the meal page or opened in a new tab, and in the same tab on Safari, iPhones and iPads. What you enter there is covered by that system's terms.
When your payment goes through, the booking system tells our order sheet your name, your email, the plan you bought and the purchase number, so we can match it to your order and put your name on it. Nothing about your health travels with it.
Chef Heather receives an email with your first name, the first letter of your last name, your plan, your weeks and dishes, your preferences, your allergies or restrictions, if you work with an LWI nutritionist, and your delivery times, so she can cook for you. It leaves out your address, your phone and your email.
The people who run the meal program receive the whole order, address included, to plan the deliveries, and you receive a confirmation of your meals and delivery times. No email subject line carries anything about your health.
When an order is sent, our server holds the sending connection's IP address briefly, in memory only, to stop the same order being sent over and over.
What we do not do
This website runs no analytics and no advertising pixels or tracking code, and it sets no cookies of its own. Its fonts, drawings and logo all come from the site itself.
No part of a page loads from another company's servers. The one exception is the meal checkout panel, which loads the booking system's checkout.
Our hosting provider
Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it receives the technical details every browser sends with a request, such as your IP address and browser type. It uses them to deliver pages and protect the site.
If a page fails to load, your browser may send Cloudflare a short error report.
Pages run by others
The addresses ending in /retreat and /retreats open the booking system's own form for planning a team retreat. A form that cannot send offers that system's own form in a new tab, and that system's privacy policy covers what you enter there.
Children
This website is meant for adults. If you are arranging care for a child, a parent or guardian should send the form.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us, and we will answer within a reasonable time. Some records may have to be kept where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted here with its date.
